Matt is my favourite broadsheet cartoonist, and by far the most accurate football pundit!
Go Wayne Grudem!
A tribute to one of my favourite authors. Love it! He’s thematic! He’s charismatic! He’s syyyyystematic! (HT; Desiring God blog)

When it snows…
I love this clip. Sums up our ability to cope with a real winter here in Blighty. . Here’s what all the fuss is about. Nice satellite picture of Britain covered in snow – by the University of Dundee. From The Times.
Swine Flu Paranoia
Thanks for this, Roydon.
Man flu!
Within a couple of days of being home from Uganda I went down with a heavy cold – teperature and the lot! Maybe the result of 9 hours ‘long-haul’. Any way, I was much cheered up by this video clip provided by my daughters. I’m not sure what they are trying to tell me.
Oh Happy Winter!
This just about sums up the chaos caused in the UK by a few inches of snow and ice.
That’s life – you’ll always find it cheaper!
In my opinion, Matt continues to be the most consistently funny cartoonist in the UK. My thanks to The Daily Telegraph for this seasonal quip.

A new model for pastoral counseling?
I’m not advocating this as a good (gracious) method or approach to pastoral counseling, but there is certainly some truth here, especially if the person counseled is in Christ and He in them by His Spirit; if they have died to the reign of sin and are alive to God in righteousness through Christ (See my previous post on ‘Gospel-driven Sanctification’). Any way, this is very funny, and a wonderful corrective to the appalling rise of humanistic counseling in the Church.
